Gitanjali joined Greenhill in 2019 as its General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Her portfolio of responsibilities includes transactional advice, governance, enterprise risk management, data privacy, cyber security, People Operations and publicly listed company matters. She is based in New York and lives in Brooklyn with her husband and their two children. Gitanjali previously worked at Goldman Sachs, where she advised on a wide variety of legal and regulatory issues related to capital markets and investment banking as Associate General Counsel. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Gitanjali worked at Latham & Watkins and Linklaters on global transactional and advisory matters in London, Hong Kong and New York. Gitanjali graduated from Smith College in 2000. She holds a law degree from Oxford and is admitted to the UK and New York bars.
