Kwok Ng
Kwok Kei Ng serves as a Co-Chair of AABANY’s Pro Bono and Community Service Committee and is charged with the operations and organization of AABANY’s pro bono clinics, with an emphasis on Brooklyn. He also serves on the board of the Asian American Law Fund of New York (AALFNY).
Kwok’s legal experience is rooted in his tenure across various courts within the New York State Unified Court System. His journey began as a court interpreter in NYC Family Court and evolved to the position of Assistant Law Clerk in NYS Supreme Court and his most recent role as an Associate Court Attorney in NYC Civil Court. In his free time, Kwok has volunteered as a Small Claims Court Arbitrator since 2019.
As an advocate for language accessibility in courts, he received an appointment from the Chief Administrative Judge to be part of the NYS Unified Court System’s Advisory Committee on Language Access. He also plays an active role in the Brooklyn Bar Association, serving as the Vice-Chair of its Diversity Committee.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Kwok is committed to mentoring and creating opportunities for young students from diverse backgrounds. He serves as the Deputy Vice President of the High School Division of the Sonia & Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program, an initiative designed to place high school students from underserved communities into judicial internships in both state and federal courts.
Kwok holds a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from the State University of New York, Binghamton.
