Description

Asian Pacific Islander Americans (APIA) comprises of 5% (50,000+) of all attorneys and 7% of law school enrollment nationwide. The federal and state judiciary seeks talented, passionate, and high moral individuals to assist in its mission to ensure equal justice under the law. Yet, APIAs only comprise 3% of federal judges and 2% of state judges. Often, a large pool of applicants originates from attorneys with prosecutorial experience. In this exciting panel, current Federal and State Judges discuss individual journeys and challenges they have faced as former APIA prosecutors and how the experience prepared them to serve on the bench.
